Arguably, one of the most thronged joints in the capital Harare — Mashwede Village — along High Glen Road will close this weekend and reopen in August almost summer time.
ChillSpot Family the hosts for the popular China CheMadzimai have since alerted patrons of the imminent closure with their season finale Thursday.
“Argh well, we are closing down to make way for renovations which begin on Monday until end of July,” DJ Levels said.
“There is no better time to do that than now since its winter and as you maybe aware winter brings unforeseeable costs like gas for the heaters and all. So, we’re shutting down to reopen after winter.”
China CheMadzimai has grown over the time and more than just playing music, the trio of DJ Fantan, Levels and Rhibhe also invite guest artistes to mix and mingle with patron while the ladies also enjoy the dance challenges.
A good number of performing have performed as guests including Andy Muridzo, Hwinza, Bazooker, Killer T and Master H.
