Sweden-based Zimbabwean performing artist — Manluckerz — ushered music fans into festive mood at the weekend with a thrilling gig held at Hotel Hellesten African Jazz Club in Stockholm.
Dubbed as Christmas concert, Manluckerz whose real name is Luckson Makandire Chezhira Chikutu backed by his Zim-Traditional Unity, kept his online audiences glued to the show which was streamed live on social media platforms.
Manluckerz clad in his traditional attire soaked it out on stage showcasing some traditional dances while here and there he would blow his whistle much to the delight of the fans.
Highlight of the performance was when he belted out “Serina” whose video is doing rounds on social media.
“We had a great performance. Everything went well,” said Manluckerz.
“Thank you very much Hotel Hellsten-African Jazz Club Stockholm for your support and our fans all over the world, you really mean a lot to us.
“As Zim-Traditional Unity Band, we wish you a merry Christmas, and a happy new year. Love you all, one love always,” he said.
Besides serenading fans, the Christmas show provided the much needed good cheer normally associated with festive season.
