After years of honing her craft as a backing vocalist for some renowned gospel artists, Mejury is finally releasing her debut album titled Ngavavongwe.
This eagerly awaited album launch promises to uplift, inspire, and bring joy to listeners of all ages.
The launch is expected to take place on the 19th of October 2024 at Mshumavale A.F.M Church in Kadoma. The show will start at 1700hrs.
Talented Mejury aka sister Meju takes the stage on Saturday to launch her debut album and Kadoma’s music lovers are in for a treat. With Ngavavongwe, this gifted artist invites audiences in Kadoma and surroundings areas to come and experience the transformative power of gospel music.

Born 39 years ago in Chinhoyi, Mejury will be launching a five-track album filled with the power of God and the songs on the album include Tariro, Zvakadaro, Mabvi Ose (worship song), ‘Makanaka’ and Title track’Ngavavongwe’.
According to the singer, her songs are a reflection of her walk with God from trials to triumphs and the songs on the album will resonates those who are going to attend the launch and also those who are going to buy the album and listen to it.
During an interview with the talented singer, she said she was humbled to share her gift with the world as the album is a heartfelt reflection of her spiritual journey.
“I am humbled to share my gift with the world and I will be praying that my music will bring hope and encouragement to those who need it,” said Nyarumwe who started singing at tender age.
“My music is a reflection of God’s Love and Grace in my life and I hope it will inspire others to seek deeper relationship with Him.” continued Nyarumwe who did her Primary School education at Chikanga Primary in Karoi.
“This album is a testament to God’s faithfulness and love, and each song is a personal expression of my walk with God, and I hope it inspires listeners to deepen their own relationship with Him.” said Mejury
Recorded at Kunashe Studio on Mutare, the album is a reflection of God’s faithfulness and guidance throughout Mejury’s journey of life and according to her, she said she was happy that the album was out and was ready to launch it.
Mejury had few words to other upcoming musicians and said they should strive to put God first when they think of writing their songs and not focusing on themselves.
“I would like to give some piece of advice to my other upcoming musicians and I encourage them to put God first and focus on Him alone and not to focus on themselves if they ever want to succeed in their lives. Invite the Holy Spirit when you want to compose songs,” said Mejury who sings with Grace Music group.
