The countdown to Miss Universe Zimbabwe just got a whole lot hotter.
Organisers have confirmed that Jah Prayzah, the reigning king of contemporary Zimbabwean music, will headline the grand finale of the country’s most prestigious pageant.
And if that wasn’t enough star power, former Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi will fly into Zimbabwe for the very first time to host the event.
Set for June 6, 2026, at the Hippodrome, the evening promises a dazzling fusion of fashion, beauty, and showbiz fireworks.
Eighteen stunning contestants will strut for the coveted crown from 6pm, but the real spectacle will unfold both on and off the runway.
Jah Prayzah, known for genre-defying hits that have made him a household name across Africa, is expected to deliver a performance that will have the VIP section on its feet.
With his signature blend of modern Afro-pop and traditional influences, the “Nyeredzi” hitmaker is the perfect soundtrack for a night of glamour and triumph.
But the entertainment coup doesn’t stop there.
Taking the hosting reins is none other than Zozibini Tunzi — Miss Universe 2019, global icon, and South Africa’s pride. In an exclusive announcement on her official Facebook page, Zozi sent Zimbabwean fans into a frenzy.
“Mhoroi, Zimbabwe! I’m so excited to share that I will be hosting Miss Universe Zimbabwe Grand Finale on the 6th of June.
“It’s my first time visiting the country and I couldn’t be happier to do it on stage with impeccable young women. See you there!”
For a pageant that has steadily grown into one of the country’s most glamorous calendar events, securing Tunzi as host marks a major milestone. Industry insiders say her presence elevates the local finals to unprecedented continental prestige.
This year’s edition is already shaping up to be a who’s who of business and showbiz, with captains of industry, celebrities, and socialites expected to flock to the Hippodrome.
Vying for the crown is a stellar line-up of 18 beauties: Jemina Mandemwa, Mona-Lisa Dube, Kudzaishe Mwamuka, Roseanna Hall, Ruvimbo Njomboro, Charmaine Mabvundwe, Nomaqhikiza Mokoni, Cheryl Sambadzai, Adelle Chinamasa, Tatenda Madzinga, Shelly Bent, Kuvakwashe Mujakachi, Malaika Mushandu, Paris Huni, Sindiso Ndlovu, Nicole Nyawera, Virginia Nyambe, and Brunette Makanyiso.
