Cimas Medical Aid Society through their iGO wellness programme has partnered Coca-Cola, Rooneys, Toyota Zimbabwe, African Sun Hotels and Bon Marche in providing healthcare to members and potential members at this year’s edition of Bonaqua Triathlon Cup Troutbeck scheduled for September 25, 2021 at Troutbeck Resort in Nyanga.
Triathletes will be pleased to know about Cimas iGO wellness programme which promotes healthy lifestyles, though professional consultations, advice, information dissemination and incentives such as discounts for healthy activities negotiated with various partners, including gyms, spas and restaurants.
Cimas Marketing Manager, Bhekimpilo Ntini, said the multisports festival provides an opportunity to reach out to members and potential members to know that Cimas was committed to promoting health and wellness.
“Our purpose is to inspire healthier communities by providing global standard health and wellness solutions. This year’s edition of the Triathlon gives us yet another opportunity to sponsor the corporate challenge helping us promote in particular 2 of our 8 dimensions of wellness which are Physical & Social wellness,” Ntini said.
Cimas iGo wellness programme promotes healthy lifestyles, though professional consultations, advice, information dissemination and incentives such as discounts for healthy activities negotiated with various partners, including gyms, spas and restaurants.
There are three international packages namely, Healthguard Deluxe, Healthguard Essential and Healthguard Classic, all of them being provide by Healthguard International, the Mauritius-domiciled Cimas international subsidiary.
The packages are denominated in United States dollar with both contributions and benefits payable in US dollars.
Other services include Cimas Medical Laboratories, Cimas Rescue and primary healthcare clinics throughout the country, all of which have full time doctors as well as nurses and incorporate a pharmacy.
Rick Fulton one of the event organisers said they were expect nine countries including Namibia, South Africa, Kenya and Zambia.
This year’s Bonaqua Triathlon Cup Troutbeck tournament will see a number of activities and competition categories including aquathlon, ATU Sprint Triathlon Cup, Junior Triathlon African Cup and the Zimbabwe National Triathlon Championships, among other events.
