Popular comedienne Mai TT says she does not care what people say about her attitude for as long as she is putting food on the table.
Mai TT has of late been accused of being unprofessional and violent at the same time but she said she loves being unprofessional because it pays her bills.
In a recent interview with Heart&Soul’s Ruvimbo Nyikandzino, Mai TT said she cannot risk being professional and go hungry.
“Well, what I love about my unprofessionalism is, it’s paying. I don’t have a problem with that because at the end of the day it’s what I put on the table,” she explained her I don’t care attitude.
“You can be professional yet you’re hungry and poor. So I really don’t focus on what they say about me because at the end of the day I’m going places. I work very hard for my life. My life is growing and glowing by the day I got no problems. So I really don’t care about what they say. The people I work with really know how I work especially when it comes to marketing.”
True to her words, Mai TT is good at what she does. Emceeing at weddings, bridal showers, baby showers as well as being brand ambassadors for several corporate companies.
However, she can be a savage too.
In May 2021, Mai TT whose real name is Felistas Murata was reportedly sacked from a film production that also starred Rhumba giant Awilo Longomba for alleged unprofessionalism.
Mai TT’s role as Awilo’s wife was terminated and replaced by Angel Mary Kato after the fallout with producers – BJB Films.
Mai TT rose to prominence after she split from her hubby whom she claimed infected her with HIV.
There were thousands who followed her throwing tantrums at her ex-hubby on Facebook leading to her launching a career as a comedienne-cum-musician at the back of several sympathisers.
