Granddad of Zimbabwean gospel music Baba Mechanic Manyeruke is retiring from public performances.
The Makorokoto singer will say goodbye to his fans in style with a retirement dinner set for Friday at Casino Marina at Long Cheng Plaza starting at 6:30pm.
It will be a combination of food, dance and drinks on the night as fans bid farewell to the pioneering star who has entertained fans over the last three decades.
Like Thomas Mapfumo, Baba Manyeruke wants to retire from stage and focus on other things.
At the retirement dinner, Baba Manyeruke will also launch his much-anticipated biography.
