Oh what a night!
Champagne toast, beautiful people and none stop banqueting this was the scene at the reopening of Exquisite Cars in Harare.
The black tie affair held Thursday saw guests dressed to the nines in all shapes and sizes. And the whole arrangement from the gate where guests checked in to the violinist who played classic music whilst in a big balloon to the newly established showroom.
So amazing that for once it the ambience felt a lot like proper car show which we only see on the small screen.
Even the guests were more cultured. You would converse with anyone as if you’ve have met before.
To cap it all, speakers delivered short and sweet speeches.
And also Barry Manandi who was the emcee for the night made it look easy because he made sure everyone was relaxed and comfy.
And moving around the super cars on show at Exquisite Cars you begin to realize that nothing beats passion.
The showroom was indeed built with passion and even at night the venue is well lit.
Victor Matiyenga, the managing director told guests the place was once a flea market but because of his passion to sale high end cars, he turned it into a super cool showroom, the first in the country.
There are not many car showrooms like that in the country and Exquisite Cars has set a precedence which perhaps will be replicated in future.
And for Victor this has been the trend over the years since he started out his car sale.
Most of his peers would copy everything from style to pattern.
But as they say the original is hard to beat and it takes not just money but passion to come up with a super structure as the one at Exquisite Cars corner Tongogara and Mazowe Street, Avenues.
Victor told guests that in future they would be a one stop shop for back up and also a double story showroom.
Guest speaker Mr Matiyenga showered his son with praises saying he was proud that he creamed Victor good.
