Fastjet Launches New Route Connecting Byo and Vic Falls

Fastjet Zimbabwe, the award-winning airline, is pleased to announce the launch of a new domestic route connecting Bulawayo and Victoria Falls, with flights commencing on Friday, 8 August 2025.

The new service will operate four times a week—on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays—using the airline’s modern Embraer aircraft fleet. The regional jets are well-suited for this route, offering passengers a reliable and comfortable flying experience.

“This new Bulawayo–Victoria Falls route enhances our network and reaffirms our ongoing commitment to supporting the growth of tourism in the region,” said Nunurai Ndawana, spokesperson for Fastjet Zimbabwe.

 “Our four-times-weekly schedule will create more travel opportunities and cater to both leisure and business travellers, further establishing Fastjet as a vital connector within the Matabeleland region.”

Vivian Ruwuya, Chief Commercial Officer at Fastjet Zimbabwe, added, “This development has been in the pipeline for some time.

“We’ve been closely observing traffic trends and growth between the industrial hub of Bulawayo and the tourism capital, Victoria Falls.

“The introduction of this scheduled service is the result of extensive consultations and collaboration with key industry stakeholders.”
