By Jonathan Mbiriyamveka

Zimbabwean gospel sensation Eleana Makombe is crossing oceans to spread a message of gratitude, with the announcement of her highly anticipated Grateful Experience Australia tour.

Hot on the heels of her latest album titled “Grateful,” the worship leader will take her powerful ministry Down Under for two unforgettable nights of praise, worship and life-changing encounters.

The Dates

The Grateful Experience Australia will land in two cities:

PERTH — 18 September 2026, Perth Convention Centre

MELBOURNE — 19 September 2026, Westgate Entertainment Centre

Tickets for the Melbourne leg are already on sale via gratefulmelbourne26.eventbrite.com.au, with the Perth link to follow shortly.

‘Prepare Your Hearts’

In an announcement on her social media pages, an excited Makombe called on Australians to ready themselves for a powerful encounter.

“Australia, get ready! I am coming your way!” she declared. “Prepare your hearts, lift your voices, and get ready to worship and praise the name of the Lord in the beautiful land of Australia!”

The “Mabasa AmaMwari” hitmaker promised an atmosphere of thanksgiving, praise, worship, joy and gratitude.

“We are coming with thanksgiving, praise, worship, joy, and an atmosphere of gratitude,” she said. “It is time to gather, celebrate, and give all glory and honour to the One who deserves it all!”

The tour is being held in partnership with RemitHope, Southland Regional ZW, Property X and Destiny Music.

Makombe urged fans to invite family, friends and loved ones, calling it “a gathering you don’t want to miss.”

“Australia, prepare yourself for a Grateful Experience. Get ready to encounter the presence of the Lord!” she said.

The Grateful Experience tour comes on the back of Makombe’s latest album, which has been receiving rave reviews for its heartfelt worship anthems and messages of thanksgiving.

The timing of the tour — just weeks after the album’s release — signals the singer’s desire to share the music with the Zimbabwean diaspora and beyond.

Makombe has steadily built a following beyond Zimbabwe’s borders, with the Grateful Experience Australia tour marking her latest international outreach.

The Zimbabwean gospel scene has seen a growing number of artists venturing abroad, with the diaspora proving to be a receptive audience for homegrown worship music.

As the countdown begins, Makombe’s message to Australia is clear:

“Let every heart prepare to worship and every voice prepare to praise! To God be all the glory!”

The Grateful Experience is officially on its way.
