3 – Portuguese goalkeeper Diogo Costa made three saves in the round of 16 penalty shoot-out against Slovenia, breaking the European Championship record for most saves in one penalty shoot-out, while Slovenia became the first team in tournament history to miss all of their penalties.
27 – In head-to-head stats, Spain and England have met in 27 matches dating back as far as 1929. The Three Lions have 14 wins compared to 10 for La Furia Roja, while three games have been drawn.
114 – The number of goals scored at Euro 2024, at an average of 2.28 per match.
3 – No less than six players (Harry Kane, Georges Mikautadze, Jamal Musiala, Cody Gakpo, Dani Olmo and Ivan Schranz) are tied at the top of the scorers’ chart with three goals apiece.

added to €9.25m for reaching the tournament; €1m for a win and €500,000 for a draw through the group stage; €1.5m for a win in the round of 16; €2.5m for a win in the quarterfinals; and €4m for a win in the semifinals. The final’s runner-up will receive €5m.
