Songstress Cynthia Mare has assured her fans not to despair after her five year long lull from music.
The Amai singer took to her official Facebook page and hinted at her return to stage anytime soon.
She, however, did not mention what caused the long hiatus from music and public performance after such a fledgling career.
She wrote: To my loyal fans and supporters. Thank you so much for continuing to appreciate my music over the years. I know I have been so quiet for over 5years.
“I had been going through a tough time and had to step away from the limelight in order to heal myself.
“I am so happy to tell you that I’m now doing great and I miss you all so much. I miss singing and I have started writing new songs.
“I miss being on stage and creating music videos. You guys have continued listening to my music and keeping it alive.
“Many of you have asked where I am and when I will be back with new music. There are no words to express how much I appreciate you. Very soon I will be back sharing ME with you. I love you and God bless you.”
Facebook users reacted to the message with great enthusiasm.
“It shall be well with you dearest. There is a time for everything,” said one user.
The second one wrote: “Welcome back! Waiting for another video like ngoro kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk haaaa ngoro you nailed it”
The third user commented: “Longtime sister Cynthia well come back.”
And another user said: “Tikuuda hit projects likening kuna AMAI song. Welcome back
Chihera Mai Trevor said: “Ammara (Brown) is my friend I’ll have a chat with her about your proposal. And Chihera too!”
Cynthia absence is hardly surprising what with Enzo Ishall also announcing he quit music. Musicians are humane and they also go through same struggles as every other individual.
