Dandemutande Partners with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure

Dandemutande, a leading technology and telecommunications company in Zimbabwe, has entered into a strategic partnership with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This collaboration represents a significant step in Dandemutande’s mission to transform African industries through advanced digital solutions.

The partnership was officially launched at a vibrant event held at Cresta Lodge, where the striking hues of Oracle’s red seamlessly blended with Dandemutande’s blue, symbolizing the powerful synergy between the two tech giants.

The event was attended by notable figures including Prince Sibanda, Chief Director of the Ministry of ICT, Postal & Courier Services, and Eng.

Leonard Jukwa, Chief Systems Engineer and Personal Advisor to the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of ICT, Postal and Courier Services.

Dandemutande CEO, Never Ncube, highlighted the company’s commitment to leveraging cutting-edge technologies.

Nilesh Jankee, Oracle Principal Solutions Architect, emphasized OCI’s role in hosting innovations like ChatGPT and supporting global enterprises such as the English Premier League.

Monalisa Sibanda, Dandemutande Cloud Product Manager, introduced the full spectrum of Dandemutande’s cloud services, highlighting the recent addition of a 400TB Storage Area Network (SAN).

“Our SAN enhances data storage with high availability, security, and scalability, which is crucial for businesses in today’s digital environment,” she noted.

Mlungisi Sibanda, Senior Systems Administrator, discussed the seamless migration and support services provided for businesses transitioning to OCI and introduced Dandemutande’s team of certified OCI engineers.

The partnership with Oracle is a key element of Dandemutande’s regional expansion strategy, which includes recent milestones such as the establishment of a Security Operations Centre, Fibre backhaul expansion, and new branches in the region which includes Botswana, Namibia and Malawi.

Dandemutande is incorporated in Zambia and will be setting up an operation.
