“As a guy who has done business regionally and also globally, I do know that the fundamentals of any business growth, is growth on the home front.
“And for your efforts I want to offer you a medical facility in the midlands province and this time I would be the landlord. For a facility on which I will do a global university part of it is a medical school that will have international medical practitioners in honour of you doc I am saying you have got first crack at it,” he said.
Dr Chanakira said the facilities such as Corporate 24 were supportive of government which is largely affected by beaurocracy.
“There are medical practitioners at each and every corner, indeed I’ve studied the industry when we were doing covid related work we discovered that there 1800 hospitals and clinics that are functional in Zimbabwe about a 1600 or so belong to the private sector and many of these within public sector are suffering from lack of refurbishment, lack of medical equipment and lack of medicines, and we are doing work in order to support government but as you may know, government as I discovered tends to move at three speed— slow, very slow and stop,” he said.
