The Unplugged x Coca-Cola Food Fest held over the weekend drew some of the who’s who in Harare at ZB Sports Club.
The grand finale saw the Coca Cola Company president, Delta Corporation and Schweppes officials in attendance.
It was the last installment for 2024 and boy oh boy, did it give fans an unforgettable experience not just music but also a celebration of Zimbabwean flavours and festive vibes.
The festival aligned with Coca-Cola’s global “A Recipe for Magic” campaign, which celebrates the joy of shared meals and moments.
Coca-Cola believes in the magic created when people unite over food, music, and drinks; this festival embodies that ethos.
And true to that, this year’s grand finale was sensory delight, bringing together Zimbabweans from all walks of life to celebrate the festive season with food, dance, and music.
Energy was high both on and off stage with South Africa based Amapiano queen Sha Sha serenading music lovers on a journey into sound. Her performance was a combination of new and old songs making it super duper act.
Another artist who thrilled fans was Zim dancehall’s finest Nutty O, who did not waste time on stage churning out hit after hit.
Other musicians Saintfloew, Iares, Wowrae, and Zimbabwe’s top DJs among them Rimo, TK Beats and Fujeee also made their presence through different playlists.
But on the whole, the Coca-Cola Food Fest showcased a variety of cuisines, from Zimbabwean and African favorites to international delicacies, as top chefs, food vendors, and culinary influencers take center stage.
Attendees had a whale of a time exploring Zimbabwe’s rich food heritage and indulge in innovative dishes paired with Coca-Cola’s refreshing beverages.
Highlights of the festival included the Zimbabwe on a Plate, basically a showcase of the best local flavors prepared with flair and creativity as well as interactive experiences: engaging food demonstrations, meet-and-greets with food content creators, and Instagram-worthy moments throughout the day.
