At least five groups are now through to the Chibuku Road To Fame Finals scheduled for 1 October 2022 at Glamis Arena in Harare.
The group are from Bulawayo, Manicaland, Mash Central, Matebeleland South and Mashonaland East provinces.
And Harare province finals will be held this Saturday 10 September at Warren Bar.
Delta Corporation, General Manager – Corporate Affairs, Patricia Murambinda, confirmed the competitions were so far being conducted successfully throughout the country.
“The Chibuku Road to Fame Provincial Finals kicked off on the 6th of August 2022. We are now halfway to completing the Provincial Finals, with five Provincial Finals held so far.
“These have been well attended and have brought a lot of excitement to our consumers. The Provincial Finals will end on 24 September 2022,” Murambinda said.
Murambinda, however, said preparations had begun in earnest for the Chibuku Road to Fame National Finals.
“This year will be a thrilling finale as we celebrate 60 years of Chibuku. We have several exciting activities lined up, and there will be several well-known performing artists at the celebrations. Entrance on the day will be free of charge with performances set to start at 12pm,” She said.
“We look forward to crowning the 2022 Chibuku Road to Fame winners!”
The following groups have qualified so far and have earned spots at the Chibuku Road to Fame Finals:
