Afro Jazz artist Batsirai Shasha is billed to perform at Theatre in the Park this Saturday.
In a statement, Batsirai Shasha’s mom and manager Florence Chaurura expressed hope and confidence that the concert will be successful.
The artist also expressed his excitement saying he is prepared to excite his fans putting them in a festive mood.
Rooftop Promotions programs and communications manager Passmore Ndlovu said that this will not be their first experience with this artist.
He also urged the public to book their tickets in advance to minimise pressure on the day of the concert.
Shasha has done a couple of shows at Theatre in the Park performing for a decent crowd since 2020.
He has 2 albums to date and has more than 80000 followers on Facebook.
Shasha’s momager also manages his social media pages which also contributed to his successful musical career.
Some of his popular works are Gotwe released in 2021 teaming up with Mai TT, Terera Moyo released in 2020 in collaboration with Feli Nandi, Amai released in 2020 among others hits.
Shasha has had an amazing airplay on local radio stations like Star FM, Power FM, Radio Zimbabwe etc.
For years, Theatre in the Park has hosted different artists during the festive seasons.
The venue will also be hosting top multilingual local band Mokoomba this festive season.
The show will be starting at 7pm with gates opening at 6:30pm PM and the admission is $10. Tickets are already available and bookings are being done on 0782217462, 0774232478 and 0773207306.
Music enthusiasts and fans can alternatively visit Theatre in the Park offices located in the Harare Gardens during business hours.
