Zumbani herbs hit supermarkets

CAPTION STORY: Zumbani, a herb which is commonly known as the fever tree is now available in most supermarkets following a spike in Covid-19 deaths. Zumbani which is being sold among other veggies such as garlic and onion as well as ginger, is believed to cure or at least reduce infection of common flue. Zumbani is also excellent for bringing down fevers hence its name fever tree. Zumbani is cafeine free and high in potassium which makes it ideal in regulating blood pressure. It is also high in magnesium and iron which are vital elements. Zumbani can be taken as tea or used for steaming to shake off the flue bug. Others also use it to make concoctions also aimed at curing flue. The tea also has anti-oxidant properties due to its relatively high phenolic content. According to Department of Civil Protection, as at January 24, there have been 313 new cases of Covid-19 infections and 31 deaths. The cumulative cases now stand at 31320 while recoveries are at 22250 with cumulative deaths at 1005.
