Ever been to VIP Sports Bar at Chikwanha?
Well if you haven’t then you don’t know what you are probably missing!
Clean, classy and state-of-art clubbing with staff always ready to service patrons.
There is so much hype surrounding the reopening of VIP Sports Bar at Chikwanha Shopping Centre in Chitungwiza.
While patrons were happy to see a revamped hangout with more space to swing a cat last weekend the joint was oversubscribed.
But the allure of the club is its ambience and patrons get to choose where to sit either to chill outside or inside but the vibe is still the same.
Last weekend, it was like no other at the bar.
Packed is perhaps is an understatement but the one good thing is that the temperatures of beverages did not change, cold as usual and the music was on point. The PA system is top notch.
The resident DJ surely knows how to make the club jump.
Got to the bar just after sunset and the DJ was rocking some old skool urban grooves and everyone sang along to all the classics from Roki, Leonard Mapfumo, Maskiri, Ngoni Kambarami to Ronie Huni.
At the turn of the millennium around 1999, urban grooves was the music and it was such a great set reminiscing on the good old days.
But outside the music, the facelift at VIP Sports Bar was more than welcome as patrons got to hangout in a lively environment.
There was huge investment into the facelift including the new restrooms where it’s nice and clean. And no stench coming from the restrooms.
And it is all the more exciting at VIP Sports Bar because the hangout attracts only the mature crowd no teen boppers.
Also notable were some top executives whose top of the range cars were nicely parked outside where there is ample space.
Certainly, the standards are high at VIP Sports Bar and where the bar is well stocked with a wide range of beverages.
