Zimbabwe’s dancehall giant Winky D and Zambia’s chart-topping pop sensation Yo Maps are gearing up to share one stage in what promises to be a thrilling “best of both worlds” showcase on April 11, 2026.
Dubbed the Zam-Zim Braai Fest, the all-day music celebration will roar to life from 10am till late at the Lusaka Showgrounds, blending Zimbabwean fire with Zambian flair in a cultural and sonic feast.
The concert is powered by a dynamic partnership between Zimbabwe’s award-winning Chipaz Promotions and Zambia’s Dream Light Events — a collaboration already sparking buzz across both nations.
And the lineup doesn’t stop with the headliners.
Fans can expect an electrifying mix of supporting acts from both countries, including Tomela Kaira, Xiba, Chillspot Family, Etheron B, Vinchenzo Mbale, DJ CRDCX, Kayz Adams, DJ Ghost and Chichi Disappear — turning the festival into a true regional showcase of sound and style.
For Winky D, widely regarded as one of Zimbabwe’s most influential reggae/dancehall voices, the Lusaka stage presents an opportunity to further cement his footprint in Zambia.
While he commands massive crowds back home, this show opens the door to a wider Zambian audience eager to experience his politically charged lyrics and magnetic stage presence firsthand.
On the other hand, Yo Maps continues to dominate regional airwaves, enjoying strong rotation on Power TV on DStv, which has become a key platform for Southern African music. His growing popularity across the SADC region makes this musical link-up even more timely.
