Harare – Schweppes Holdings Africa Limited has announced the appointment of Mr. Stanley M. Muchenje as its new Managing Director, effective 1 May 2025.
The announcement was made by the company’s Board Chairman, Mr. Vuli Ndlela, who expressed confidence in Muchenje’s leadership and wealth of experience, saying the appointment marks a significant step forward for the company.
Muchenje brings to Schweppes nearly three decades of experience in the beverages industry. He began his career at Delta Beverages in 1997, where he held several senior roles across Sales, Distribution, and Marketing. His strategic insight and operational expertise have been key to his professional success.
He holds a Bachelor of Business Studies (Honours), a Marketing qualification from the Institute of Marketing Management South Africa (IMM), an MPhil in Marketing, and has completed the Accelerated Leadership Development Program through SABMiller and the Gordon Institute of Business Science.
Before joining Schweppes, Muchenje served as Managing Director of African Distillers since 2021, where he was credited with driving business growth and organizational transformation.
