Seh Calaz is back with a bang, and this time, he’s bringing the heat.
After a brief hiatus due to health issues, the Mabhanditi hitmaker is making waves again in the Zim dancehall scene with his highly anticipated new single, Mambo ndiMambo, off his upcoming album Gore raNoah.
And let’s just say—things are about to get spicy.
The track has already caused a storm on social media, with Seh Calaz taking direct shots at his past rivals—Winky D, Silent Killer, Daddy Hope, Magikal, and Ricky Fire. It’s clear the dancehall king isn’t here to make peace.
In a bold and unapologetic declaration, he crowns himself the “King of Zim Dancehall,” or as he puts it, the “Mambo” in Shona. The bold diss lyrics make it evident that Calaz has no intention of backing down from any challenge.
Perhaps the most jaw-dropping moment in the song comes when Calaz sends a thinly veiled jab at Winky D, claiming the Gafa stands no chance against him. As if that weren’t enough, he also takes aim at Silent Killer, hinting that the artist owes him a “lifeline.”
But the real shocker comes with a swipe at Daddy Hope (Hopewell Chin’ono), calling the activist and journalist a “spent force.”
This after Daddy Hope had publicly reached out to Seh Calaz for a potential face-off, live on stage. Talk about a curveball!
Fans are buzzing with anticipation, wondering how these rivals will respond. Will Winky D and the others clap back, or will they take the high road?

In a post on his official Facebook page, Calaz hyped up the album Gore raNoah, teasing fans with an exhilarating promise: “Mabhanditi and all Zim dancehall lovers, ndinokuchingamidzai mu 2025 GoreRaNoah. Mungarava ndimo mune mangoma a2025—batai zvigaro! Noah we Mangoma ndichiri Driver, this year is going to be crazy!” With all that energy, it’s clear Calaz is gearing up for a wild ride in 2025.
Industry pundits, including renowned DJ Sparks, have already predicted that Seh Calaz’s album will make waves and shake up the scene.
“The music industry needs rebels like Seh Calaz to keep it fresh and exciting,” he remarked, and it’s safe to say the Gore raNoah era is one fans won’t want to miss.
