Sarah Dee to undergo an OP

Performing artiste    — Sarah Dee Nkala — who has a lump on one of her breasts is set to go for an operation.

The singer has been absent on stage for quite sometime due to the ‘lump’ on the breast.

Following the condition, a fundraising gig has been planned this Thursday 30 June 2022 at Theatre in the Park where a host of other artistes will perform.

The artistes who have so far pledged to perform including Ammara Brown, Jah Leny, Simon Mutambi an Black Rose Kesia and reggae singjay Mannex Motsi among others.

The gig will start at 6pm until 10 pm.

Sarah Dee announced her condition via a Facebook video where she opened up about her life threatening ailment.

“Hello Hello everyone, my name is Sarah Dee Nkala. . . I’d love to thank God for being alive till today. I’d like to thank MMFZ, a group of managers for organizing a fundraising gig on 30 June at Theatre in the Park. I thank all those who are participating in the organization of the gig and those who have pledged towards the event.

“I have a breast lump which need operation. I’d love to encourage whoever is in same situation to share, it’s always best to share and not wait until its late. Sometimes there are people out there who can help. I appreciate every prayer,” she said.

The video has been circulating on various socials with many people coming in aid of Sarah Dee.

Sarah Dee has five album up her sleeves. Her music straddles a lot of genres including rhumba, Afro-pop, house-kwasa and township jazz.

Most of her performance are filled with high energy dances which she effortlessly delivers.
