RnB singer Trevor Dongo has collaborated with rapper Hillzy on a feel good Love Story Part 2 and it is a gem of a song.
However, first things first, the video isn’t anything you’ve have expected from the two heavy hitters.
Trevor Dongo is soulful yes, Hillyz is smooth like that yes, but the visuals to this particular track leave a lot to be desired.
Why? Because the two had three video vixens who had absolutely nothing to with the video.
The three vixens stood aloof nothing exciting about them and also didn’t add value to the visuals.
Whoever thought of bringing the girls to the video had no faintest idea of the role they were supposed to play.
Clearly one can see, the ladies were out of sync with what was going on in the video, a love video at that.
Usually, we expected some steamy moments to go with the track but NO! The girls were just there.
Video vixens are supported to add spark and verve too the whole narrative but unfortunately for Trevor Dongo and his co-starring Hillzy this did not happen.
After playing the video twice I couldn’t help but laugh at the ladies.
By the way I don’t even know why they chose three of them when they could not make use of them.
Sometimes simplicity in videos is the ultimate sophistication and the video could have been a lot better had the guys showed up alone.
But the track itself is like as we said feel good. You can tell both Hillyz and Trevor Dongo were in their comfort zone delivering love jams.
The song released Monday has garnered a few votes landing at #20 on YouTube. It is pretty much that it is performing well especially that both Trevor Dongo and Hillzy are favourites of many RnB listeners.
