Whenever there is a new single out it is usually a love and hate affair and on Zvinebasa Reyi many will choose to love it.
This is because 5Nazh flows on the track dropping punchline after punchline and in most cases switching from Shona too English or vice versa.
But on the whole the two — 5Nazh and vocalist Calisoka mesh up in more ways than. Calisoka makes the chorus easy to flow and he doesn’t sing too many verses but just that line: Zvinebasa Reyi Zvinebasa nani?
After a couple of rewinds and replay I was more than convinced 5Nazh is hungry for success and that hunger will take him far.
Apparently the Chitungwiza-based rapper 5Nazh has more bars than you can ever imagine and very much in touch with his hood.
Zvinebasa Reyi? Is produced by Real Beats. The single is released in partnership with veteran award-winning rapper Rhyme Assassin’s Uncle Rhymes Records imprint.
What does it matter is the rhetorical question most young Zimbabweans seem to be telling themselves as they do what they need to do to survive tales of today’s Zimbabwean youth.
The guitar driven instrumentation accompanied by the 808 create a canvas for 5NAZH’sZvinebasa Reyi is the lead single off 5NAZH’s debut album Peasant’s Son:
He talks about real life issues of ghetto youths who hustle for cash. He raps:
“Kutsvaga one mbinga kumusha tinowanza wanza zvemakwenzi kwenzi chii chaunondi tipa pama gwanzi emu ghetto zvinebasareyi zvinebasa nani just another ghetto youth akutsvaga plan”

Born Lincoln Ngorima aka Lincoln The Prezident, 5NAZH is a Zimbabwean born MC /Rapper/Songwriter and Poet raised in the high-density suburb of Chitungwiza as the second child in a family of three children.
He was influenced by his older brother Livingstone (AyyDawg) Ngorima 5Nazh but also cites Eminem, Ludacris and Lupe Fiasco as early influences.
So far, he has made milestones in music including performed at Shoko Festival Peace in the Hood, organizing a monthly open mic event Dream Elevation Movement, as well as performing at Bocapa shows in 2014.
5Nazh also participated in the Next level tour of Zimand featured on the Move Afria Documentary on Hip-Hop in Africa
