Jehovah Jaire Chosen Generation Glenview 1 Pastor Darlington Matarirano is scheduled to launch his first album this December.
The young pastor cum musician has been working on his first album since August 2020 and has finally succeeded regardless of all the odds.”
“I started working on this project in August 2020 during the course of Covid 19 lockdown, it was easy for me as had very limited resources to record my album,” said Pastor Matarirano.
He has two singles and the album that he is launching in mid-December has nine tracks with the title track ”Zvirimandiri”.
”Preaching the word of God can be done in many ways ,singing and dancing to God is another way as most people like listening to music,” elaborates Pastor Matarirano.
Many artists, shifted to market their music on social media due Covid-19 lockdown whereby all social gatherings were banned.
Same with Pastor Matarirano he markets his singles on Instagram, Facebook and at YouTube.
Pastors and other men of God have diversified their preaching by singing gospel songs to lure other congregants to worship God.
Pastor Charles and Mai Charamba, Baba Mechanic Manyeruke, Prophet T Freddy and many others are also inspiring congregants and fans with gospel songs.
Pastor Darlington Matarirano was born in Murombedzi -Zvimba in 1987 he did his primary education in Mucheri and did his secondary education at Matoranhembe High School where he finished his advanced level.
After his A’Level he was enrolled at Bulawayo Polytechnic college where he did his diploma in Tourism and Hospitality.
In 2018 to 2019 he went to college of Theology .He is married with one daughter.
