OK Zimbabwe Limited has announced the appointment of Mr Everton Mlalazi as a non-executive director, strengthening the company’s board as it advances its turnaround and long-term growth strategy.
Mr Mlalazi brings more than 15 years of experience in business development, organisational transformation and strategic implementation across diverse sectors of the Zimbabwean economy.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Zimbabwe, a Master of Arts in Development Studies from Midlands State University, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Gloucestershire in the United Kingdom.
Currently, Mr Mlalazi is the founder and chief executive officer of Yakha Bricks and Pavers, as well as founder and executive director of RHI Media. He has a strong track record of building, scaling and leading high-impact enterprises.
Prior to his entrepreneurial ventures, he served as executive adviser to the chief executive officer of Sakunda Holdings, where he contributed to strategic decision-making and key business growth initiatives.
Mr Mlalazi is widely recognised for his ability to identify and capitalise on growth opportunities, drive sustainable expansion and integrate business analytics with finance to enhance competitiveness.
His expertise spans structured finance solutions, strategic management, business transformation, post-merger integration, operational effectiveness and large-scale systems implementation.
