Master H & Chillmaster Sizzle at Castle Lager Braai

By Jonathan Mbiriyamveka

Meat, music, and mayhem — Castle Lager’s National Braai Tour turned up the heat at Jongwe Corner, and two of Zimbabwe’s hottest acts, Master H and Chillmaster, made sure no one left the same.

The vibes were sky-high this past weekend as Castle Lager’s Micro Braai Tour rolled into town, and fans were treated to a sizzling combo of mouthwatering braai, ice-cold beer, and explosive live music.

At the heart of the action were none other than Master H, the Haudi Kudiwa hitmaker, and the smooth and soulful Chillmaster aka Emestiara.

Master H: The Hitmaker Takes Over

Already a club favorite across Zimbabwe, Master H proved he’s more than just a viral sensation. Backed by a full live band, his performance was a masterclass in stage presence and crowd control. From the first beat to the last, he had fans on their feet, dancing, singing, and begging for more.

His energy? Unmatched.

His playlist? Fire.

The verdict? He’s the real deal.

Chillmaster Melts Hearts with Every Note

If anyone thought Chillmaster was all headlines and no heat, they were proven wrong. The crooner delivered an emotionally charged set that pulled at heartstrings and moved hips in equal measure.

Tracks like Hapasikuda Nharo, Dai Tangosiyana Nazvo, and Merry Go Round brought the feels, while Ndiudze Zvese sealed the deal with soulful flair.

Whether you’re old-school or Gen Z, Chillmaster’s music hits different — and the Jongwe crowd felt every word.

A Braai Lover’s Paradise

Let’s talk meat and beer. Castle Lager kept it 100 with beers sold at pump price (yes, that’s street-speak for affordable), and grills fired up to feed the masses. From ribs to sadza, wings to wors, the flavors were on point. It wasn’t just a show — it was a full-on feast.

The vibe? Pure Zimbabwean summer.

The crowd? Lively, diverse, and down for whatever.

The experience? Legendary.

Castle Lager’s Braai Tour Heats Up Ahead of Mega Finale

This event wasn’t just a one-off. It’s part of Castle Lager’s Micro Braai Tour — a 10-city roadshow heating up the country ahead of the main event:

Castle Lager National Braai Day

 Glamis Arena, Harare

 October 18, 2025

The festival marks 10 years of braai, beats, and beer — and this year’s edition is bigger, louder, and bolder than ever. After rocking Old Hararians in past years with acts like Kamo Mphela and Winky D, Castle Lager is taking the party to the next level.

Expect fireworks, food trucks, major stage acts (both local and international), and of course, that unmistakable Castle Lager vibe.
