Cimas Health Group has taken another bold step in promoting wellness with the launch of its highly anticipated iGo Recipe Book.
The event, held at the Borrowdale Office Park, saw an assembly of health professionals, partners, and media representatives, all eager to witness the unveiling of this innovative initiative.
Speaking at the launch, Dr Willmore Kapuyanyika, Head of iGo, emphasized the significance of the iGo Recipe Book as a tool to inspire healthier communities.
“This book is not just a collection of recipes; it is a comprehensive guide for individuals committed to balanced nutrition and healthy living,” he stated.
The recipe book, crafted by Cimas’ nutrition and culinary experts, features step-by-step instructions, guides for cooks of all skill levels, and a wide variety of nutrient-rich recipes. It also addresses dietary needs to manage and prevent non-communicable diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease.
Attendees were treated to live demonstrations by professional chefs, showcasing recipes like the creamy Strawberry Smoothie, Baobab Smoothie, and Zucchini Brownies, with samples adding flavor to the event. The book’s integration of visual aids and video guides ensures an engaging and practical cooking experience.
Dr Kapuyanyika also introduced a state-of-the-art mobile kitchen, equipped to deliver health-conscious culinary education to communities, and highlighted upcoming initiatives such as the Vanpragh facility with an advanced iGo kitchen.
Cimas launched the iGo brand in 2016, focusing on preventive health and lifestyle modification aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 3 (SDG3) – ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being for all ages.
This latest milestone underscores Cimas’ commitment to empowering individuals with knowledge and tools to lead healthier lives.
Available in both physical and digital formats, the iGo Recipe Book is set to become an essential companion for anyone seeking to embrace wellness through nutrition.
As Dr Kapuyanyika aptly concluded, “iGo equals wellness. Enjoy your culinary adventures with the iGo Recipe Book and take charge of your health.”
