Victorious Apostolic Church spread festive cheer last Sunday by distributing Christmas grocery hampers to people living with disabilities in Kadoma.
Founded in 2019, the church, led by Bishop Stanleck Chariga, held the event at its Pingo site to support vulnerable individuals and families.
“We thank God for this opportunity to serve. It is a privilege to give back,” said Bishop Chariga, expressing gratitude to church members and volunteers.
Pastor Hamunyari Kasere explained that the outreach is an annual tradition. This follows previous donations of wheelchairs, crutches, and groceries to communities in Murombedzi, Pixiecombie, Nherera, and Rimuka.
Beneficiaries shared their appreciation. “We were really struggling. The church has shown us love,” said one recipient, Mrs. Maria. Elizabeth Phiri (63), a widow, added, “Thank you for the groceries. May God bless them.”
The church plans to continue and expand its community outreach programs in the coming year.
