Well, it is 2022 and Chibuku brand are celebrating their 60th anniversary with new Chibuku Super Banana Flavour from Delta Beverages.
The new banana flavoured variant is brewed with the same traditional taste profile as its sister brand, offering a unique and carbonated taste experience, with a well-balanced flavour.
Added to this, the Chibuku Super Banana Flavour is a game changer in the Traditional African beer category as it presents a wonderful drinking experience – the slow drinking goodness and satisfying taste of a flavoured traditional beer offering that can be consumed at any time, anywhere.
Speaking at the launch in Harare on Wednesday, Mr Marshall Pemhiwa General Manager – Sorghum Beer Business, said the new Chubuku banana flavor offers a choice to consumers.
“Undoubtedly, this event signifies our collective resolve to offer our consumers wider choice and signifies an exciting trajectory in the vision and mission of the Sorghum beer business.

The launch of Chibuku Super Banana wouldn’t be complete without the pomp and fanfare. Top choreographer John Cole and the team as well as Vee Mhofu, a mbira legend in the making entertained the guests while Themba Mkanda aka Chana who was the emcee did justice to the show.
