Afrobloggers is inviting the general public to submit nominations for the 2nd edition of The Afrobloggers Awards.
The Awards seek to honor the best African Bloggers from all around the world with deserved recognition for the time and effort contributed towards shaping the African narrative.
Nominations will close on 3 October 2021. Winners, which will be announced on the 15th of December 2021 will be selected from 12 categories.
Each category was carefully chosen to encourage stories that showcase different facets of Africa, the land, and its people.
Last Year’s Blogger of the Year The Gaborone Runner from Botswana, had this to say about the recognition that comes from these awards “Winning the Best Wellness Blog was a signal to me that sharing my journey and being vulnerable has been worth it and that others have been inspired to start or keep going in their own personal fitness journeys.”
This Year’s Awards will be a collaborative effort with other country-specific Blogging communities such as Blogging Ghana, to ensure that the event is inclusive of all African regional spheres.
