Apostle Chi concludes Zim visit after meeting ED

Ark of God’s Covenant Ministry (AGCOM) founder Apostle John Chi who held a two-day crusade in Harare, met President Emmerson Mnangagwa before departing and shared spiritual notes with him.

Apostle Chi is erstwhile protégé of late Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) founder Prophet TB Joshua.

After meeting President Mnangagwa he posted on his Facebook page:

“I would like to commend the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, His Excellency Dr. Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa’s dedication to the path of peace, which is guiding the country to prosperity, anchored on love and national cohesion.

“He is indeed a torch bearer and a shining example for the people of Zimbabwe. May the Lord continue to inspire and direct him.”

The crusade took place on October 18 and 19, 2024. The two-day crusade was tagged: “Heal our Land Zimbabwe”. It also had in attendance Christians and pastors from across other African countries such as Botswana and South Africa.

Upon his arrival before the crusade, Apostle Chi lauded tranquility in Zimbabwe.

“Fellow servants of God, I’m here in Zimbabwe to share the good news of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. This is my third time to visit Zimbabwe having been here since 2017,  but I’m back this year in 2024,” said Apostle Chi.

 The main purpose of the crusade was to pray for the country Zimbabwe and the leadership, so “that God will continue to bless the country so that its people will continue enjoying the prevailing peace and all of God’s blessings”, said Apostle Chi, adding:

“In this regard, I would also want to appreciate the leadership of Zimbabwe, especially the President His Excellency Dr. Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa for promoting peace and tranquillity in the country.”

Born on 1976 in Esu, Menchum Division of the North West Region.

Having left SCOAN in 2013, Chi has carried the late TB Joshua’s legacy with distinction, spreading the gospel far and wide across the continent and beyond.
