All Set for Explosive HKD Festival at Glamis Arena

Harare is bracing for a musical explosion this Saturday as the HKD Festival returns — bigger, louder, and bolder — at Glamis Arena.

Dubbed a clash of the titans, the second edition of the festival will bring together some of Zimbabwe’s hottest acts, from Killer T, Baba Harare, Seh Calaz, and Nutty O, to soulful songbird Feli Nandi and hip-hop sensation Voltz JT.

Rising stars Delroy Shewe, Atenda Chinx, and Nashie Zim are also on the lineup, promising non-stop entertainment.

Currently trending on TikTok with his hit “Kunge Ngirozi,” featuring Nyasha David, Nashie Zim is expected to bring youthful energy to the stage.

Last year’s inaugural festival — held at Alexandra Sports Club — made headlines when Freeman HKD, the man behind the movement, launched his 13th album “Me vs. Me” before a sold-out crowd.

This time around, the HKD boss is upping the ante.

Freeman has teased fans that he’ll be dropping two brand-new tracks just days before the show — a move that’s already got fans buzzing about whether he’ll break his own records.

To keep the vibes high, the mic will be commanded by top emcees Merciless Zim, Gudo, and Godfatha Templeman, while DJ Tanaman spins the decks.

The crowd can also look forward to electrifying sets from The Don Family and newcomer DJ King Her, who’s making his HKD Festival debut.

With this star-studded lineup and a reputation for sold-out shows, the HKD Festival is shaping up to be the ultimate music showdown of the year.

Fans are being urged to grab their tickets early — because once the HKD family hits the stage, it’s game over.
