IS THERE anything like mixing business with pleasure?

The more traditional folk in our midst will most likely say NO. Work now, and play later!

But the new way, to the newer generation, is to combine business and pleasure where only the finest is expected.

This is perhaps what MCM VVIP, a lifestyle, celebrity culture and property development brand  that sets out to combine both business and pleasure on one platform, has in mind.

Their target is to provide quality entertainment for the business executives, who otherwise wouldn’t attend every other show or event that is not business related.

“We have noted with great interest that many events around Zimbabwe do not accord a true and legit VIP experience for the discerning and elite members of our communities. The treatment between an ordinary show attendee and for someone with a VIP invite is always the same,” said Anthony J Mcmullen Jnr the chief executive of MCM VVIP.

“The service is also not up to scratch and the general behavior in the venue is clouded with some bad energy due to the lack of diligent planning from organizers and promoters MCM would like to assure all those who have been seeking an opportunity to dress up walk the red carpet mix and mingle with celebrities and business leaders that beginning 22 October 2022. We are rolling out a red carpet as we bring you the VVIP experience. We have a number of events coming up and so we are inviting everyone who feels and wants to enjoy quality event productions as well as do business in a smart way.”

And on 22 October 2022 MCM VVIP will host the first ever top notch event in Zimbabwe #Business is pleasure at the Palms in Borrowdale.

The show will start at 6pm and will go through the night until midnight.

“The show is designed to host business leader’s captains of industry, celebrity’s socialites and the who’s who in Zimbabwe for a night of great entertainment and an opportunity to do business in a pleasurable manner,” Mcmullen said.

Designed from a passion to see business and pleasure mixing in one place the event will act as a platform to network, socialize and promote the Zimbabwean entertainment scene.

“As MCM we want to contribute to the wellbeing of the people of Zimbabwe in business by creating an environment that is pleasurable and yet an opportunity to pitch one’s value proposition in a relaxed manner.

“We are simply saying you can do business while having pleasure. Business is pleasure The night is going to be filled with glitz and glam from the venue settings citing arrangements and a uniquely designed stage for all the performances,” he said.

“We are excited to host four of the most sought after urban contemporary musicians in Zimbabwe today in a unique musical production that will see them sharing a stage like never before. “

Billed to perform are some of best male artists in Zimbabwe Nutty O who is riding high with songs such as Handipere Power and Open Doors as well as the best female artist Tamy Moyo who recently released a video for “Do My Own Thing” taken from her second album launched late last year.

There is also going to be Holy Ten and Ishan who are also currently chart topping on all radio stations.

According to Mcmullen attendees at the event are guaranteed of a world class approach to events from parking, security, handling, ushering and the general service of the night.

“We have been working behind the scenes to make sure that we develop an experience that keeps our guests smiling throughout the night.

All those buying early tickets will also get an opportunity to prepay for their meals and drinks in advance.

To attend the event tickets are going for $60 advance and $100 at the door at Pariah Belgravia, Boss Cafe, Jan Jam and Star FM.
