Diepcity, dominates Royalty Soapie Awards with over 30 nods

Popular Mzansi Magic telenovela, DiepCity reigned high at the recent Royal Soapie Awards Nominations event with 32 nods spread across multiple categories, the most by show this year.

Produced by Black Brain Pictures, DiepCity is renowned for bringing together established industry heavyweights such as Dawn Thandeka King, Hamilton Dlamini, and Mduduzi Mabaso and birthing new talent such as Nompumelelo Vilakazi, Lebohang Mpyana, Chrispen Nyati, and Luyanda Shezi, who are some of the talents that soar high on the Outstanding Newcomers nominations list.

The notable production house leads the technical categories with nominations for Outstanding Directing Team, Outstanding Editing Team, Outstanding Light Direction, Outstanding Casting, Outstanding Sound Mixing & Editing, and Outstanding Cinematography.
