After a four-year hiatus that felt more like a decade, Zimbabwe’s most beloved winter celebration—The Mighty Zambezi Lager Bonfire Festival—is officially roaring back to life.
Mark your calendars, dust off your winter gear, and gather your crew.
On 4 July 2026, Donnybrook Park in Harare will transform into a blazing wonderland of music, storytelling, outdoor adventure, and the kind of electric social energy that made this festival a national favourite.
The theme? “Zimbabwe’s Own Bonfire.” And from 12 PM all the way to 2 AM, that’s exactly what it will be.
More Than Just a Party
For those who remember the pre-2022 magic, this return is personal. For those who never experienced it? Consider this your warning: you are not ready.
Speaking on the festival’s comeback, Kundayi Mawema, Marketing Manager for Lagers at Delta Beverages, described the event as far more than a standard gathering.
“The Mighty Zambezi Lager Bonfire Festival has always been more than just an event,” Mawema said. “It is a unique lifestyle and cultural experience made for our Zambezians.
“It brings us together to enjoy Zambezi Lager and celebrate the great outdoors, music and storytelling, while building connections around the warmth of one large, unifying bonfire.”
Warm-Up Season Is Here
But the main event is just the finale. Before the flames leap high at Donnybrook, Zambezi Lager is hitting the road with a series of Bonfire Micro Events designed to reconnect with fans and build momentum across the country.

Bulawayo (Hartsfield) – 20 June 2026
Harare (The Jam Tree) – 27 June 2026
These intimate warm-ups promise to deliver the same spirit, same energy, and same unifying glow—just on a smaller scale. Consider them the opening acts of a headline show you cannot afford to miss.
Tickets & What’s Next
General access tickets are priced at USD20, while a limited number of VIP tickets are available for USD50—perfect for those who want to experience the bonfire in style.
Tickets are available on all Click n Pay platforms and at selected Liquor Supplies outlets nationwide.
As for the entertainment line-up? Organisers are keeping their lips sealed—for now. More announcements, including who will grace the stage and what surprises await, will be shared in the coming weeks via Zambezi Lager’s official social media channels.
