They say music is the literature of the heart—and at Mwenje Night Club during the Sanganai/Hlanganani Expo 2025, hearts spoke loud and clear.
In what turned out to be the ultimate cultural fusion party, buyers, media, and locals ditched formalities and met on the dancefloor in a dazzling showcase of rhythm, energy, and shared joy.
The event, which kicked off around 8 PM, stretched into the early morning hours, proving once again that a good beat knows no borders.
And the stars of the night? German and Indian buyers who turned the club into an international carnival!
One unforgettable moment came when an Indian delegate took over the vibe, requesting the DJ to spin “Aaj Ki Raat” from the Bollywood hit Stree 2.
The infectious energy of the track—sung by Madhubanti Bagchi, Divya Kumar, Sachin-Jigar, and Amitabh Bhattacharya—had the packed house grooving, even if few could sing along.
But Zimbabwe wasn’t about to be outshone.
Local DJs brought the heat, dropping crowd-favorite “Mhanhanga Matete”, a jiti anthem that turned the dancefloor into a frenzy.
The catchy tune, currently dominating Zimbabwe’s bar and club scene, instantly connected with the foreign guests who couldn’t help but vibe along—some even attempting the dance moves!
Compared to Wednesday’s elegant cocktail evening aboard a luxury train 23km outside Mutare, Thursday night’s party was next-level.
This was no stiff social—it was an all-out celebration of cultural exchange, soundtracked by the soul of Zimbabwe.
Guests left with sore legs, happy hearts, and stories to tell—thanks to the warm hospitality and electric vibe delivered by the beautiful people of Zimbabwe.
And guess what? The party’s not over yet.
