Ingezi Hurricanes Academy, currently pacing ahead in Mashonaland West Division 2B West, has made a strategic move to reinforce their squad with six new signings.
This bold step aims to solidify their position and propel them towards clinching the league title by the end of the season.
With their sights set on the top, the team’s management believes these new recruits will bring the necessary depth and expertise to make a significant impact.
The new signings are expected to play a crucial role in enhancing the team’s performance, bringing fresh skills and perspectives to the squad.
With Ingezi Hurricanes Academy‘s strong focus on developing young talent through their academy system, these new additions will likely be integral in shaping the team’s future.
The team has strengthened its squad with six strategic signings, bolstering its chances of clinching the Mashonaland West Division 2B West league title and the new recruits include Tamuka Javachava (Goalkeeper) from Tongogara, Dean Mutakwa (Right Back) from Tongogara FC,Musa Abasi (Center Back) from Waverly United, Progress Phiri (All-rounder) from Father Flower Ngezi, Ashley Jonathan (Gunman) from Venice and Shepherd Munetsi from Rimuka Market.
These signings are expected to bring fresh skills, expertise and healthy competition to the squad, enhancing the team’s overall performance and propelling them towards success and the team is poised to make a strong push for the league title and cement its position at the top.
Speaking to the team Manager John Tavamanya, he said the team was happy to aquire new signings and they were going to boost the squad and help them carry the day for the team.
“The acquisition of these new signings is a significant booster to our squad. We’ve brought in talented players who will add depth and quality to our team.
“These recruits will play a crucial role, especially in situations where we face injuries or player fatigue. We’re confident that they’ll integrate well with the existing squad and help us achieve our goals,” said the team Manager
Ingezi Hurricanes Academy’s Team Chairperson, Faison Maruza said with the new players on board, they were confident that they will be able to compete strongly and achieve their objectives of winning the league.
“We are excited to welcome the new signings to our team as they bring a fresh dynamic and added quality to our squad. With these talented players on board, we are confident that we will be able to compete strongly and achieve our objectives.
“The new signings will undoubtedly enhance our team’s performance and provide us with more options in terms of strategy and player selection,” said Maruza.
The team’s Director Joseph ‘Wasu’ Nemakanga said the signings was their top priority and the team was now stronger and was confident that they will blend well with others and help the team to win the sole ticket.
