Nutty O humbles self before Pastor Charamba

Top Zim dancehall singer Nutty O showed his humility after meeting his inspiration Pastor Charles Charamba.

The two musicians met at the recently held Chipaz Charity Bhora where besides playing against each other during the charity match also posed for pictures.

When reached for comment, Pastor Charamba said he believed the Handipere Power hitmaker was a giant in the making.

“Blessings sir. Am good and blessed, I trust you’re as well as we get into this passion week.

“I met the young artist at Dzivarasekwa Stadium during a Chipaz soccer event. We had the moment of that picture as he narrated how much of inspiration my music is to him since childhood as well as expressing his excitement that we finally met. Of course, I also told him that he is quite a distinguished composer with a great ability to shape a remarkable future,” Pastor Charamba said.

“I personally perceive him to be a giant in the making artistically speaking. Though he’s already at the top of his game, I perceive that with a clear vision and discipline, he’s headed for dizzier heights.”

It appears Pastor Charamba had encouraging words for Nutty O whose music career is on the rise since the release of his debut — Mustard Seed.

The one good thing about the Charity match is that for once artists trade the microphone for the boots.

And since its inception Pastor Charamba has been supportive of the initiative organized by Partson Chimbodza of Chipaz Promotions.

Pastor Charamba was a commissioned guest at the event although in previous years he would also play as the goalkeeper for the Sungura FC. This year’s match ended in a one all draw.

And Nutty O showed up for the first time this year at the charity match held at DZ Stadium. And to cap it all Freeman performed his homecoming show.
