Bulawayo — The City of Kings is about to come alive with heavenly harmonies as the St. Cecilia Music Festival takes over Hartsfield Rugby Stadium on Saturday, November 22. Get ready—this isn’t just another event; it’s the biggest Catholic choir celebration in the country, and it’s promising nothing short of magic!
This beloved annual festival is set to bring together 30 spirited choirs from eight dioceses—Harare, Bulawayo, Mutare, Masvingo, Chinhoyi, Hwange, and Gokwe—all uniting to fill the stadium with symphonies of faith, joy, and sheer musical artistry.

Adding to the thrill, defending champions Northwest City Deanery from Harare are returning to protect their crown. But with powerful voices rising from all corners of the nation, the battle for top honours is wide open.
“May the best choir win, and may God be glorified as we commune at this most anticipated festival,” says Codza Chimuka, musician, choir coach, and proud participant from Southwest City Deanery.
