Reggae Royalty Ties the Knot in Star-Studded Bash!

Zimbabwe’s dancehall scene just witnessed a fairytale come true as the ever-electric Stanford Chibanda — better known in the entertainment streets as StanSplash — finally put a ring on it!

The reggae maestro said “I do” to his queen of 12 years, Fungai Chibanda (née Zisengwe), in a dreamy celebration at Christon Bank Plot 3A over the weekend.

And trust StanSplash to make it a full-blown entertainment affair. Before the vows were exchanged, Bulawayo’s nightlife was set ablaze during an epic bachelor’s party in the City of Kings and Queens.

Think glam, glitter, roses, and champagne flowing like a river — all topped off with performances that pushed the party into the early hours.

Known for his fire vibes as the resident emcee at Kirytan Bar and Restaurant, StanSplash teams up with DJ Danny Vybz to form the unstoppable Splash Vybz Sound.

Together, they’ve made Thursdays in Harare a full-blown reggae pilgrimage.

But there’s more — StanSplash isn’t just an emcee; he’s a trendsetter.

He popularized the Aktion Park dance routine, inspired by the track from Jamaican star Mavado aka Gully Gud.

And yes, he brought those signature moves to his wedding dance floor, joined by none other than the couple’s eldest son, setting the crowd on fire!

With four boys in tow and a solid 12-year love story, StanSplash proves that even in the wild world of showbiz, family still comes first.

“It’s all about balance,” he said, flashing his iconic smile. “I’m a father and a performer — both roles are full-time, and I love them equally.”

Here’s to the power couple — may the rhythm of love keep playing forever!
