DStv viewers are enjoying a month-long on-screen film festival in which the movies shown are voted for by the viewers themselves.
According to MultiChoice Zimbabwe corporate affairs and public relations head Charity Njanji, the Viewers’ Choice Festival features a selection of subscriber favourites, returning to give added delight to their viewing experience.
“It runs from October 4 to November 3 on M-Net Movies 4, DStv channel 107, and it includes films that viewers wanted brought back for renewed enjoyment, and they include some thrilling big titles,” she said.
Films selected range from adrenaline-pumping action films like The Bourne Identity to the laugh-out-loud comedy romance Crazy Rich Asians.
“Just before each movie airs, M-Net Movies will share the names of some of the voters and their quoted comments on the films they want, so there’s a celebration of the fans who helped curate the line-up,” she said.
There’s also a special bonus for DStv Compact Plus, Compact, Family and Access subscribers, who can for a time use DStv Add Movies to access three premium movie channels: M-Net Movies 1, on channel 104, M-Net Movies 2 (channel 106), and M-Net Movies 3 (channel 107) on their existing packages, but at a special rate. New subcribers are always welcome to DStv, and they can subscribe to the DStv Access or higher package levels and receive M-Net Movies 4 as part of the package. This will enable them to enjoy the Viewers’ Choice Movie Festival.
