The Stanbic Jacaranda Music Festival, one of the region’s premier music events, has been moved to Thorn Park Polo Club from the previous Old Hararians Sports Club for the 2024 edition.
The festival will run from 4-6 October 2024, showcasing a diverse line up of performing artists the likes of Ace FRVR, Reverb 7, Micasa (SA), The Travellers Band, Dlala Thukzin, Freeman HKD and HKD Band, Agga Nyabinde, Skyroot, Shaku Shante, Expressions by Daniel Deuschle, Rax the DJ, Feli Nandi, Casper Nyovest (SA), Nutty O, Spunj, Backtrack Vocals (USA), Nomfusi (SA), Idoipe – Cuervo Lento (Spain), James Sakala (Zambia), Master H, St. Emmo, Mokoomba, Felo le tee (SA).
Some exciting productions to look out for include Scripts and Bars, and collaborations directed by Jose Sax presented by Mbeu, Mary Anibal, and Sylent Nqo.
As per tradition, the 2024 edition will feature a two-day music business conference as a prelude to the main festival.
The conference will provide a platform for industry professionals, artists and aspiring musicians to engage in panels, workshops and networking opportunities.
The Stanbic Jacaranda Music Festival has a rich history of showcasing some of the best musical talent from across the region and beyond. The 2024 edition promises to continue this tradition, with a diverse line-up of performers representing a wide range of genres and a spotlight on some of Zimbabwe’s finest performers.
Tickets for the festival are officially on sale and early bird tickets will be available for a limited time.
The SJMF is an annual celebration of African music and culture. Established in 2017, the festival has grown to become one of the premier music events in the region, attracting thousands of attendees from around the country.
The festival features a diverse line up of musical performances as well as a food village with bespoke food vendors.
