Musician Baba Harare is out to prove critics and haters alike with the launch of his much-anticipated album titled Prove Them Wrong.
The album comes at a time when Baba Harare is getting inspiration from top Nigerian artist Burna Boy whose career has grown in leaps and bounds across continents.
And our very own jiti star has set his sights on conquering not just Zimbabwe but also continental-wide.
The album launch will also see performances by his collaborators the likes of Jah Prayzah, Vimbai Zimuto, Voltz JT and Gemma Griffiths.
The launch is scheduled for Padziva Camp and Caravan this Friday.
There is so much at stake as Baba Harare who branched out from Jah Prayzah’s Third Generation is making waves with his high energy performances.
To date, no Zimbabwean artist has brought home a Grammy or MTV Awards except for ShaSha who recently won a BET Award.
So, if Baba Harare is to prove anything to anyone, he has to at least win one of the coveted gongs either a Grammy or MTV or BET Award. Once that is done he has the bragging rights to say “I proved them wrong.”
There is nothing wrong in being ambitious for as long as it is backed by talent, determination and hard work.
And can he do this with his upcoming album Prove Them Wrong?
Well, it remains to be seen since the album is believed to be well polished accordingly to his handlers.
