Gospel diva Janet Manyowa on Wednesday sent birthday wishes to singer Minister Michael Mahendere for turning 40years.
The Zadzisa singer took to her Facebook page and celebrated Minister Mahendere for turning a year older.
Manyowa wrote: “Happy 40th birthday to the one and only Minister Michael Mahendere
“We are in awe of God’s hand upon your life and we celebrate you Sir! May this next level unwrap greater! Nyasha neNgoni zvirambe zvinemi!!! We appreciate you.”
And Minister Mahendere replied:” So grateful My dear Sister, thank you for celebrating life with us. We celebrate you more “
His post received 63 likes from fans while Manyowa’s post had 4.6K likes.
The two have shared the stage on a number of occasion and have over 10 coveted awards between them.
Apparently,, Minister Mahendere has been building up to his 40th birthday by giving back to his community through a global fundraising campaign.
The fundraising campaign targets well-wishers and friends of Minister Mahendere in Zimbabwe, South Africa, United Kingdom, United States of America, Australia, and many more across the world.
The project is in honour of budding local, regional and international artists who will be the beneficiaries of Minister Mahendere’s 2023 fundraising campaign earmarked for a world class art recording studio, gospel radio station, and direct worship live equipment.
The establishment of a recording studio whose premises are already in place at Michael House in the heart of Harare shall inspire up-and-coming local, regional and international artists to strive for higher and original forms of artistic achievement and excellence through quality recordings.
The gospel radio station to be established at Michael House as well, shall provide the opportunity for the publicity and marketing of music and the arts locally and internationally.
The Direct Worship live equipment which covers stage equipment, sound system and LED screens shall enhance local touring events to world class status and enable the hiring of this equipment to generate revenue to fund recordings for budding artists.
