Zimbabwean rappers Kikky Badass and Silas Mavende are readying for December 10 gig at Long Cheng Plaza featuring Ghanaian star Camidoh.
Both Kikky Badass and Silas Mavende aka Saintfloew are billed to share the stage with Camidoh who is popular in Zimbabwe for the track Sugarcane.
Dubbed “Heatwave Sugarcane” the concert will also see the likes of Freeman HKD, rapper Holy Ten, Voltz JT, Ken Wamambo and Leo Magozz, of the Fire Emoji fame performing.
There will be appearances by Andile Brown, Nu Vybe, Dj Sadiq and Enjoyment 5.0 on the line up.
Kikky Badass said in a promo video: “It’s your girl Kikky Badass and I’m coming here to let you know that it’s going down on the 10th of December in Harare pa Long Cheng Plaza. Camidoh is coming from Ghana live in Zimbabwe guys, at the Sugarcane Heatwave concert. I’m so excited. . . So tell your friends to your friends’ kuti ke December katotanga. See you guys.”
Saintfloew also weighed in: “Hanzi zita ndonzi . . . saka make sure musi wa 10 munenge muripo, tinenge takazara ipapo tinenge tichihosta Camidoh . . . pachipisa muzita raJesu.”
While these will be supporting acts, all eyes will be on Camidoh who has had sold out concerts outside of Zimbabwe.
Camidoh was born in Aflao in Volta Region of Ghana and raised by a single mother in Ho, the capital.
From 2008 to 2012, Camidoh obtained his secondary education from Bishop Herman College, where he majored in General Arts.
He furthered his education at the University of Professional in Accra, Ghana, graduating with Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing.
In 2018, Camidoh was signed by Grind Don’t Stop Records.
In that same year, Camidoh released his first single titled For My Lover which featured Darkovibes.
Camidoh rose to prominence in between 2021 and 2022 with the release of his single Sugarcane in December.
